How do I obtain access to my squad’s scheduling calendar?
  Your squad’s administrator (Scheduling Director) must provide you access to website. An email will be sent to your email address that you provided to your administrator. Check your inbox for an email from EMSplanner.com prompting you to join. Click on the link and you will be directed to a registration page.

How do I sign up for a shift?
  1) Login and click on the Calendar link.
2) Click on a date, shift, and position you want and are allowed to take. (Subject to your company’s policies)- You can not sign up for shifts where the time has passed.
3) Pick up a whole shift, only part of the shift, or complete a shift. You can add a comment explaining any discrepancies or concerns to the administrator and request recurring shifts here.
a. Whole Shift: You are requesting to work the full shift (Shift times are set by the administrator)
b. Partial Shift: You are requesting to work the first part or the last part of the shift. (Please indicate till what time or starting what time you can work, respectively)
c. Complete a Shift: Someone has already requested to work only part of the shift. (You are given the option to complete the rest of the shift)
4) Wait for administrator approval or denial. Come back at a later time to the scheduling webpage to see whether or not you got approved. A notification email will be sent to you.

How come I can not sign up for certain positions?
  Either the shift time has passed or your administrator may have restricted access to that position. User privileges allow an administrator to effectively determine what positions a user may request to sign up. On the user side, you will not have that position as an option. Depending on your company’s policy, this can be applied either toward new members who may not be able to drive or to shifts that require at least one experienced member. The new member would not be able to sign up for these positions.

How do I cancel a shift that I am assigned to work?
  Go to MY SHIFTS link and press the Request To Cancel button. Wait for Administrator to approve/deny.

How do I stop getting email notifications?
  Your administrator may have the email notification on default requiring every member to receive emails. If your administrator toggles it off, you will have an option to receive or not receive emails. Go to EMAIL REMINDERS and check off or uncheck options.

I'm having trouble logging into the website!
  - Clear your cookies and then enable them. To do so,
   In Internet Explorer: Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Click the General tab -> Click Clear Cookies. Also, click Clear Temporary Files. Important: Make sure the setting under the Privacy tab is set to "Accept all cookies" or that you have set an override set up for emsplanner.com
   In Firefox: click Tools -> Options -> Cookies -> Clear. Important: Make sure the setting for "Allow sites to set cookies" is checked or that you enter emsplanner.com as an exception.
